You’re It

You’re It cover art

We spend so much of our lives searching.

For the right person, the right place, the next adventure, the next dream, always believing what we’re looking for must be somewhere farther down the road.

“You’re It” is about finally slowing down long enough to realize that maybe the things we’ve been searching for were already traveling beside us.

An old friend who never left. A guitar that still remembers every song. A quiet morning on glass-smooth water. The people who make us laugh, drive us crazy, shake their heads at us, call us out, pick us up, and somehow keep showing up.

Maybe “it” isn’t one person, one place, or one perfect moment.

Maybe it’s all those little pieces of a life that we don’t fully appreciate until we stop chasing tomorrow and look at what we already have.

Sometimes the greatest thing you can find isn’t something new.

It’s recognizing what was there all along.

And when your heart finally recognizes it...

“You’re It.”

I merely provided the guitar & lyrics.
